Refer 2 Earn Promotion Terms & Conditions

Promotional Dates:
Commences: 01 December 2023

The Offer:

  1. A client who has previously taken a loan with Makulu Finance can refer a NEW client (a person who has NEVER taken a loan with Makulu Finance and that client successfully takes out a loan at Makulu Finance
  2. Upon successfully achieving point 1, the referrer will be eligible to earn a 7,5% commission of the loan amount
  3. Referrals to existing clients (someone who has previously taken a loan or has a current loan with Makulu Finance will not be eligible for commission
  4. Only one commission payout can be redeemed per new, successful referral
  5. You may earn a commission every time a new referral is successfully approved
  6. Makulu Finance sales representatives do not qualify for the promotion
  7. Existing Makulu Finance agents qualify for the promotion

The Referral Process:

  1. Receive an SMS from Makulu Finance containing your client ID.
  2. Give this code to your prospective Client that you are referring to Makulu Finance , who will need to provide it to the branch when applying for a loan
    1. This code MUST be given at the time of applying for the loan and not afterward
    2. Any code given after the loan has been issued will be null and void
    3. The referee must check that the code is captured correctly by the Makulu Finance branch
  3. Once the loan is approved and the code is assigned to the loan, then the referral will be validated by Head Office
  4. Once validation is complete, then the redemption of commission process will commence.
    1. This may take up to 2 weeks for validation

General:

  1. The promotion is held in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, of South Africa and specifically the regulations governing promotions. Any changes required to these terms and conditions in order to comply therewith will be affected without notice.
  2. Makulu Finance ’s directors, members, shareholders, partners, employees, agents, or consultants and their spouses, life partners, parents, children, siblings, business partners or associates, subsidiaries and/or holding companies are not eligible to participate in the promotion.
  3.  All information relating to this promotion and published on any promotional or advertising material forms part of these terms and conditions of the promotion.
  4. In the event of a dispute, the decision of Makulu Finance will be final and binding on all aspects of this promotion and no correspondence will be entered into.
  5. Makulu Finance , its directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors, subsidiaries and/or holding companies are indemnified against and assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, harm or damage to person or property arising from an entrants’ participation in this promotion or for any loss or damage, howsoever arising.
  6. If required by law or for whatever other reason at the discretion of Makulu Finance , Makulu Finance shall have the right to terminate this promotion with immediate effect or vary the Terms and Conditions thereof, and without notice of such termination or variation to any entrants or winners. In such event, all entrants hereby waive any rights that they may have against Makulu Finance for any direct or indirect damages and hereby acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against either company, subsidiary, or holding company, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants.
  7. By participation in this promotion all entrants/winners participating in this promotion agree that they do so strictly and entirely at their own risk and that Makulu Finance , its respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, subcontractors and/or affiliates, in whole or in part, shall not be liable for any loss, injury, death, and/or damage (including but not limited to general, consequential or special damages or loss of profits) of whatsoever nature and howsoever arising (including but not limited to whether directly or indirectly or whether or not by way of negligence) to any person and/or other person (third party), dependents, assignees, executors, trustees or legal representatives.
  8. Makulu Finance reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without further notice.
  9. By participating in the promotion, you agree to the promotion T&Cs & to receive marketing communication from Makulu Finance .
